Position Summary:
The Team Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Team Services Department across both the Under Armour Performance Center and M&T Bank Stadium. This dynamic role ensures efficient execution of shipping and receiving, mailroom operations, light maintenance, supply stocking, locker room support, office coordination, and off-site errands. The Team Services Manager works cross-functionally with multiple departments – including Equipment, Facility Operations, Athletic Training, Stadium Operations, and Security – to ensure a high level of service and operational excellence.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sr. Manager of Team Services in the overall management of department operations.
- Supervise daily workflows and staff scheduling to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including FedEx, UPS, freight, and USPS mail.
- Oversee and maintain the Q-Track package tracking system for the Under Armour Performance Center.
- Ensure compliance with shipping, receiving, and safety standards, including OSHA regulations and internal policies.
- Support office readiness efforts, including light furniture moves and workspace set-ups.
- Collaborate with the Equipment Department on weekly logistics and support tasks.
- Track, order, and stock general supplies (e.g., office materials, beverages) in partnership with vendors.
- Conduct and assist with inventory management, including audits, cycle counts, and usage reporting.
- Supervise staff in completing off-site errands and medical supply deliveries.
- Help develop and implement department policies and SOPs, including those for Training Camp and UAPC operations.
- Assist with safety and compliance planning, including CPR/First Aid training, AED checks, fire drills, and forklift certification.
- Support the Facility Operations team with special projects and tasks at the Under Armour Performance Center.
- Evaluate vendor performance and optimize procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain regular communication with the Sr. Manager and team members on goals, priorities, and task updates.
Required Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience managing staff with varying responsibilities and shifts.
- Strong experience in employee performance management and expectation setting.
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:
- Familiarity with budget processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build strong relationships across departments.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, approachable, and dependable with a positive attitude.
- Interest or passion for professional sports is a plus.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work collaboratively as a team player.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and team events as needed.
Salary and Benefits:
- Range: $25 – $29/hr
