The Job

NCAA Digital seeks a Web Product Manager to accelerate the growth of the NCAA.com and March Madness Live desktop and mobile websites. The Web Product Manager is a multi-disciplined, cross-functional manager that will help lead the definition, launch and evolution of products for our websites.

This Product Manager position will play a critical role in delivering live streams for a multitude of NCAA Championships, including the Men’s D1 NCAA Tournament to millions of passionate fans.

The Daily

  • Contribute to overall product strategy for NCAA.com and March Madness Live, considering industry trends, research, and fan feedback.
  • Propose and manage the Web product roadmap based on usability metrics, user feedback, and quantitative data from internal sources.
  • Provide direction for individual sprints, inclusive of work on product features, technical upgrades, and operational fixes.
  • Write clear product requirements for new features across multiple platforms.
  • Present and communicate roadmaps, status reports and performance recaps for various meetings, keeping relevant functional groups and executive leadership up to date on the product portfolio.
  • Complete user acceptance (UAT) and operational testing to provide ticketed feedback to developers. This role will own the operation of web products during key events including March Madness.

The Essentials

  • Minimum of three years of digital product management experience, preferably on web platforms.
  • Strong understanding of web and live streaming technology/trends including user experience, SEO, and design.
  • Experience launching products, from ideation all the way to production. This includes the ability to write functional requirements, prioritize tickets, and complete user acceptance testing.
  • Proven ability to deliver large scale user facing products to the marketplace.
  • An affinity for collegiate sports, particularly the NCAA Tournament is preferred.
  • Ability to work well as part of a cross-functional team and lead across the organization at multiple levels
  • College degree preferred
