The Human Resources Department at the Baltimore Ravens is comprised of HR professionals who are dedicated to furthering the team’s mission to win football games, serve our fans and be a positive force in the community. This position is a year-long full-time Internship that will provide general administrative HR support to the Human Resources department of the Baltimore Ravens.  This includes but is not limited to coordinating recruitment, onboarding, wellness, training and development activities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Administer the onboarding activities for new hires (background checks, electronic onboarding, verification of ID’s, collaboration with IT and other depts., completion of new employee orientation/checklists/paperwork).
  2. Assist with coordinating Employee Recognition Programs – service anniversaries, welcome gifts, etc.
  3. Assist with Wellness programs/Activity calendar/Newsletter.
  4. Assist in administering Training & Development programs, including NFL requirements and Baltimore Ravens Leader Program.
  5. Assist HR department with creation of job requisitions and recruiting plans/postings.
  6. Assist with Intern Program coordination & orientation.
  7. Assist hiring managers with interview coordination.
  8. Respond to unemployment and general HR inbox inquiries

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally in business management, organizational development, or human resources).  
  • Desire and thirst for knowledge of human resources-related policies and systems.
  • Candidate must demonstrate utmost ability to maintain confidential information.

  • Strong administrative, creative and analytical skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Keen written and verbal communication skills are a must 
  • Ability to learn on the fly and juggle multiple projects
  • Excellent ability to interact and build relationships with employees at all levels
  • Passion for sports and excellent ability to work on a team
  • Organization skills and customer first focus
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, a must

Covid Vaccination Requirement: 

Baltimore Ravens employees will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to work. Fully vaccinated means that it has been at least two weeks since you received  the single dose of the J&J vaccine or two weeks after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Therefore, proof of a COVID-19 vaccination will be required by your start date in order to be eligible to begin working.
