THE ROLE   

The Manager, Global Partnerships, will be an integral member of the Legends Global Partnerships team, located at our Central U.S. Corporate Office in Frisco, TX.  The Manager, Global Partnerships, will be responsible for working with active Central U.S. sponsorship property accounts, as well as helping lead business intelligence/category research initiatives and managing special projects across Legends Global Partnerships. The Manager, Global Partnerships, will report to the Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships, in our Central U.S. Corporate Office while working alongside additional key leadership personnel within the division and across the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to resourcefully prospect by performing extensive company and executive research for strategic engagement efforts
  • Responsible for producing sponsorship category analyses work, brand/executive briefs, target lead lists and property/project weekly tracking reports
  • Work alongside Legends Data & Analytics and CSL Valuation teams to create division efficiencies, while leading the development of key data, analytics and insights sales platforms and reports for the division and specific clients
  • Monitor and share relevant market developments and news in the sports and entertainment industry
  • Help assist with new business RFP content development, presentations and pitch coordination
  • Ability to develop go-to-market brand stories/videos and other necessary marketing collateral to aide in new property onboarding
  • Manage strategic sales outreach campaigns and coordination with internal and third parties vendors and logistics companies
  • Direct planning and event hosting initiatives and guest lists for key clients in the Central U.S.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings and other touchpoints throughout the sales process
  • Plan, create, timeline manage and help execute partnership pitch presentations, proposals, mock-ups and deal points summaries for perspective corporate partners across regional and national properties in the Central U.S.
  • Manage deal sheets, financial projections and asset tracking as well as master project calendars for properties in the Central U.S.
  • Network, create and foster relationships with agencies, vendors and sports and entertainment properties
  • Participate in industry-related events or associations that will enhance Legends’ reputation
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 6 years of experience in sports/entertainment (or similar), with specifically 3+ years of experience working directly in sponsorship/corporate partnerships
  • Strong research and business acumen, including familiarity with key business sectors, M&A activity and emerging brands
  • Experience in working with data systems, specifically CRM systems, while being able to leverage data in an efficient way
  • Creative mindset and storytelling capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organizational and time management skills, with an emphasis on driving tasks to completion and meeting deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • Experience in building presentation decks in Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite of Services, with a focus on Outlook, Word, Excel, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive. Experience in Photoshop and/or InDesign is a plus
  • Possess an optimistic team attitude and competitive desire to be the best
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Familiarity with the sales process and ambitions to eventually transition into sales is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours as projects exist across multiple time zones
  • Willingness to travel as needed for various projects
