Description

The Collective exists to create change in support of equity and fairness for women in sports and entertainment. This team supports women on all sides of the ecosystem – consumers, fans, athletes, artists, and executives. With the objective to create solutions that drive equity for our clients and the industry-at-large.

Please note: This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with Wasserman and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.

We are looking for a creative individual interested in storytelling and content creation. This division does a little bit of everything digital and social media including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, email, and web development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and social media strategy for The Collective social accounts
  • Help with copywriting and design to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with other Wasserman departments
  • Measure the success of social media campaigns
  • Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Suggest new and creative content ideas
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Weekly email development and strategy

Requirements

  • Must be able to earn college credit for the internship
  • Understanding of all social media platforms
  • Applicants must be organized, detail-oriented, be self-motivated, and enthusiastic. They must possess a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and good communication skills.
  • Candidates with strong writing skills, and copywriting, design, and/or social media management experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator and HTML preferred
