NASCAR International seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Coordinator, International based in our Charlotte, North Carolina or Daytona Beach, Florida office.
The Coordinator, International serves as a point-of-contact for international series operating partners. This role provides support by managing meeting preparation, fulfillment of deal terms, and managing partner relationships. In addition, they will act as a liaison with company marketing and communications departments.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Support international racing series operating partners, business strategy, and operations while improving relationships (NASCAR Mexico Series, NASCAR Canada Series, NASCAR Brasil Series and NASCAR Whelen Euro Series), with an emphasis on European series.
- Assist in the scheduling, planning, and preparation of the International Series Quarterly Meetings
- Organize and lead regularly, scheduled meetings and discussions (bi-weekly conference calls, quarterly meetings, etc.)
- Commercial Account Support for key partners such as broadcasters, sponsors, and promoters in each region
- Support the anticipated influx of multiple international-territory sponsorship presentations and partnership management in emerging markets.
- Collaborate with International Commercial Team, NASCAR Partnership Marketing, and Business Development to identify and develop new sponsorship activation programs.
- Management and improvement of Existing and Developing Sponsorship programs, promotions, and initiatives.
- Drive marketing campaign development and execution in collaboration with international series teams.
- Liaison and point of contact with Communications, Brand Marketing (Logo/Mark development, usage approval, etc.), Entertainment Marketing (international celebrity/influencer “popular cultural exchange” initiatives, talent booking, etc.), Content and Multicultural Marketing. This responsibility would include assisting with the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of campaigns and key promotional platforms and growth initiatives.
Required skills / experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or the equivalent training & experience
- Comfort working in multiple countries and international cultures
- Bilingual candidate preferred.
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, inner drive and attention to detail that is adept at working both independently and as part of a team
- Previous account and/or client management experience preferred
