NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Coordinator, Broadcasting based in Charlotte, NC.

The Coordinator, Broadcasting is responsible for weekly tasks to support broadcast partners, manages scheduling documents, and provides support to the entire Broadcasting department including the Managing Director, Domestic Broadcasting and account managers with broadcasting partnerships across NASCAR and ARCA series.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Create and maintain the primary programming grid for qualifying, practice and race telecasts across all broadcast partners to ensure schedule maximization and the avoidance of programming overlaps
  • Act as the on-site Broadcasting contact for select race events
  • Set weekly meetings between Competition, Broadcasting, tracks, and broadcast partners to discuss upcoming weeks events.  Distributes weekly logistics and broadcasting materials to partners
  • Oversee Broadcasting department hospitality programs, events, gifting needs, tickets/credential requests, etc.
  • Supports Managing Director, Broadcasting and account managers on partner responsibilities. 
  • Create and edit presentation materials and documents using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe and other programs as needed
  • Administrative tasks to support department needs include ordering office supplies, shipping, and other projects as assigned
  • Oversee department tracking documents for historical ratings, advertising sales, meeting agendas, etc.
  • Coordinate the administrative and logistical needs of the department including, but not limited to fulfilling all race weekend needs of the department and its partners including, access, parking and ticket requests
  • Coordination of department calendars and sports/entertainment calendars
  • Travel: Approximately 10%, including weekends

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and three (3) plus years of administrative and logistical support for a large department; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient on all Company provided hardware and software, including Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask on numerous projects
  • Attention to detail
  • Well organized and flexible to shifting priorities
  • Ability to build professional relationships
