NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Senior Library Coordinator based in our Concord, North Carolina office.
This person is responsible for monitoring the quality of the logged and edited assets provided by the Library Coordinators. Also, responsible for researching, editing, cataloging and organizing content and archived materials for use by the Library, Production and Production Services.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Acts as liaison between Library Services and Production/Production Services working with Producers/Project Managers to ensure requested materials are delivered accurately and on time
- Utilize Xytech (work order scheduling system) to locate, track, document and identify work orders and tasks as needed
- Manage the appropriate paperwork and procedures to process requests and inquiries made by internal and external clients
- Assists Library, Production and Production Services using the Perfect Memory media asset management system to locate content for use on work orders and projects
- Assist in the training of Library Coordinators
- Delegate responsibilities to Library Coordinators via Xytech work orders and inventory sheets
- Perform quality control checks on Library Coordinators’ work and edited assignments
- QC full race cutdowns for NASCAR Classics website
- Assist with preparing content for NASCAR FAST Channel, including pre-produced content and full race cutdowns from Classics website
- Work efficiently and manage time and multiple projects within given deadlines.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required skills / experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three (3) years related experience and/or training in broadcast, new media or journalism; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient on Company provided hardware and software. Experience with Apple and Mac OS is not essential, but beneficial to the job. Additional knowledge of Perfect Memory, Adobe Premiere, Xytech and other production-based applications (Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and HTML).
- Strong typing skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of DAMS system and processes
- Knowledge of the industry, its personalities and history
