General Description:Assist in executing key initiatives that support the Baltimore Ravens Player Engagement department. Our mission is to prioritize the best interests of our players, ensuring their success both during and beyond their playing careers. Through comprehensive programming, family engagement, mentorship, and active listening, Player Engagement provides guidance and essential resources. This includes player assistance services, second-career training opportunities, and continued education to foster personal and professional growth. Our goal is to equip players with the tools and support necessary for a seamless transition from the field to the next chapter of their lives, ensuring long-term success beyond the NFL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain ongoing and year-round contact with players & families
- Assist, when necessary, in the relocation needs of players, coaches and their families.
- Assist, design and help coordinate the execution of the Rookie Workshop curriculum.
- Prepare and assist DPE/ NFL mandatory policy presentation, create surveys, coordinate A/V needs.
- Arrange hotel, travel, and delivery of fee to Rookie Workshop speakers.
- Coordinate Lady Ravens & Family Programming, including kickoff event, luncheon, other activities (also includes arranging childcare).
- Assist DPE, in creating annual players and significant other seminars, workshops & retreats.
- Update local resource guide contact info, maintain communication with living arrangement properties, furniture rental, car rental and auto shippers
- Maintain communication with rookie parents/guardians, Spearhead virtual engagement with rookie parents/guardians.
- Maintain working knowledge of NFL policy’s including Personal Conduct, Gun and Weapon Policy, and Drug policy. Also to be aware of NFLPA policy, benefits and resources and maintain HIPPA compliance.
- Coordinate execution of Ravens Graduate poster along with the public relations and community relations departments.
- Serve as a contact for wives, girlfriends, significant others, and parents. Contact is contingent upon player approval.
- Facilitate family tours of visiting parents and Saturday practice visits.
Required Education and/or Experience
The Player Engagement/Family Coordinator Fellow must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- No more than three years removed from undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Prior experience working with athletes at the professional or collegiate level.
- A high proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with Adobe is required.
Requisite Abilities and Skills
The following expectations are required of all Baltimore Ravens Fellows:
- A professional approach in all interactions with Ravens players and coaches, family members, fellow Ravens staff members and fans.
- Must have outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Punctuality and accountability in all aspects of the role.
- Be highly proficient in verbal and written communications.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have the ability to maintain discretion with highly confidential information.
- A passion for sports and a customer service focused mindset.
- Ability to effectively create engaging content/training material and deliver information in a way that connects with the intended audience.
- Must be able to work 40+ hours weekly, including nights, weekends and holidays and be available to work all Ravens games.
- Responsible for providing their own housing in the Baltimore area.
- Reliable transportation to both the team’s training facility and M&T Bank Stadium.

PAY/BENEFITS:
- Salary: $70,000 – 75,000 / year
