*This is a part-time / hourly role. The ideal candidate must be willing to work part-time hours (24 hours / week on average) for the long-term. This is not a full-time role.

The People, Culture & Inclusion Department at the Baltimore Ravens is comprised of HR professionals who are dedicated to furthering the team’s mission to win football games, serve our fans and be a positive force in the community. This position will provide general support on a part-time basis to the People, Culture & Inclusion department and the Under Amour Performance Center of the Baltimore Ravens.  This includes but is not limited to event planning with regards to employee and office events and administrative support with regards to employee recognition, benefits administration, travel arrangements, and overall program support of the PCI team initiatives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Event Planning

  • Assist with the planning and execution events related to various events centered around celebrations for our staff – holiday party, family picnic, retirements,
  • Assist in the planning and execution of recruiting events & employee trainings.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Diversity & Inclusion focused events.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Baltimore Ravens Social Club events.

General Office Administration

  • Order business cards/office stationery as needed and make improvements where possible.
  • Keep locker rooms and mailroom updated with staffing changes.
  • Manage women’s locker room, exercise room, and lactation room & stock accordingly.
  • Review and open incoming mail.  Sort and respond as necessary.

PCI Program Support

  • Update and organize SharePoint as policies change. Serve as point of contact for internal intranet, providing content and fresh information.
  • In partnership with PCI team, organize calendars, coordinate meetings and keep department on track with recurring tasks and deadlines.
  • Keep PCI closet organized and up to date with merchandise as needed for various events – recognition, recruiting, employee milestones & community outreach.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries regarding recruitment, speaking engagements, employment verifications, unemployment and other various HR related inquiries.
  • Send gifts such as flowers/meals/care packages during times of need to employees and stakeholders. Proactively stay on top of these events and communicate to PCI staff.
  • Process PCI invoices/corporate card expenses and various budget items.
  • Support document retention plans.
  • Support recruiting process in conjunction with TA Sr. Manager. Help to post requisitions, facilitate and participate in interview process/coordination, as needed.
  • Support new hire onboarding process. Support Engagement Manager with employee experience, service recognition programs and other employee focus projects.
  • Plan and coordinate travel for candidates and employee leadership and learning travel as necessary.
  • Support department and participate in team meetings providing input, feedback and programming ideas to support inclusive and welcoming culture.
    • Build collaborative relationships with staff at all levels and locations.
  • Manage the annual holiday gift selection, execution and delivery.
  • Assist with the coordination of wellness events and classes.
  • Partner with vendors on custom footballs for various recognition programs.
  • Book catering, conference rooms, photography, videography as needed for dept. initiatives/events.
    • Communicate with various departments as necessary for guest arrival and security protocols.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2 – 4 years of experience in event planning/office administration and/or dealing with matters of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of human resources-related policies, regulations and policies desirable.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the utmost ability to maintain confidential information

  • Strong administrative, creative and analytical skills.
  • Must be organized, proactive and communicative.
  • Superb attention to detail with data and compliance efforts
  • Must have sound judgment and be able to maintain confidentiality in HR matters
  • Keen written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Ability to learn on the fly and juggle multiple projects
  • Excellent ability to interact and build relationships with employees at all levels
  • Passion for sports and excellent ability to work on a team
  • Organization skills and customer first focus
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, a must & HR systems knowledge a plus.
  • Work schedule will be onsite at the Under Armour Performance Center and M&T Bank  Stadium as needed and in person three days/week with flexibility as necessary based on department needs.
    • Ability to work nights/weekends as necessary to be present at Ravens games and other events as necessary
  • Ability to lift and jostle up to 25lbs
  • Experience in MS office suite, a must. Experience in Canva or other design software a plus.

Salary and Benefits

  • Range: $28-33 / hour
  • Eligible for 401k, pension, paid time off and comp tickets based on hours worked
