Navigate works with premier clients on all sides of the industry – leagues, teams, brands, networks, agencies, and universities. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively with other members of our team to help design research-based solutions for potential clients and to craft proposals
  • Learn and become a power user of Navigate’s research and data subscriptions and tools
  • Learn and master the processes used by Navigate when executing primary and secondary research
  • Contribute to client engagements from kick-off through deliverables, including:
  • Support communication with the client
  • Execute the creation and/or aggregation of research, data, and analytics that will be needed to achieve the client’s objectives
  • Support the process of determining the key insights, answers, and recommendations, as well as the creation of the deliverable’s executive summary
  • Build deeper and wider relationships with existing clients and earn Trusted Advisor status
  • Support the sales and marketing team on thought leadership initiatives
  • Learn from senior members of the research and consulting team as a mentee

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience at an agency or other organization related to sports business; Professional team and/or collegiate experience is a plus
  • Strong data analysis skills preferred (particularly using Excel, SQL, R or other tools)
  • Experience with modeling techniques is a plus (e.g., regression analysis and cluster modeling)
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Strong self-management skills and ability to own multiple accounts, set priorities and follow-through
  • Comfortable with all forms of client-facing communication (e.g., consultative conversations, formal presentations, happy hours and social events)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients on decisions that are driven by a blend of research, data, analytics, experience, and subject-matter expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with custom market research is a plus
  • Experience with survey programming and data processing platforms is a plus
